Courses offered from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm with a midday break.

| Grammar Review Program |

Designed to provide a general overview of Grammar and Sentence Structure, this program builds key grammar skills by covering all sentence components and its mechanical aspects. Students will review basic punctuation and capitalization rules, sentence expression and style.
It will also cover common grammar pitfalls especially as they relate to the SAT or ACT tests. Other topics discussed include how to improve sentences or paragraphs and how to improve certain word choices. Using practical exercises and examples, students will be able to gain a good command of the language. This is a 10 hour class that will be done in 5 sessions of 2 hours. |

The RANDD Reading and Study Skills Program is a comprehensive skill-building program that teaches students state of the art reading, study skills, and strategies to make them better, more efficient, more effective students.
Featured is Chyten’s Mid-Range Reading strategy that may help students double or triple their reading speed with greater comprehension than before. This is NOT speed reading! In addition, RANDD students learn Review-Integrated Note-Taking, Information Organization Utilization (IOU), Classroom Management, Time Management, Test Taking Strategies and more. It includes three 2.5 hours per week for two weeks. |

| College Application Essay Workshop** |

Rising seniors - get an early start to the College Applications process during the summer. While grades and test scores are important parts of your college application, the personal essay is a key factor in determining who gets in, and who doesn't. Jump start your college application process by participating in this 10 hour workshop that will focus on examining your personal values and experiences so that you can write the most authentic essay - one that is unique, like you! By the end of this four-day workshop, you will have a draft of your college essay that is original, focused, and structured. You will then have a 1 hr. one-on-one meeting with one of our writing specialists to finish the final draft. |
