With the report cards out this week, many students received the grades they needed to improve or maintain their G.P.A.  But many were disappointed that their grades in certain classes were not what they expected or needed. 

July and early August is a great time to leisurely work to improve knowledge in those subjects, so the students are not playing
catch-up in the Fall.  It is also a good time for the students who are just entering high school in the Fall to get a jump on their tough Fall semester subjects.

Chyten of Scottsdale has summer program classes for many of these subjects: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Effective Writing, Reading Comprehension and Study Skills. 

We also have one-on-one expert tutoring available for other subjects, including all areas of Math, most Languages, all Sciences and History.

We provide excellent tutors with top education and experience, and schedule the sessions around your active summer schedule.

PSAT/SAT or ACT Boot Camps | (2-5 students) | $1500

Chyten’s Boot Camps are one week intensive SAT/PSAT or ACT preparation courses offered in the summer that allow students to focus their studies over a short period of time. Courses are offered from 9 am – 4 pm with a midday break.

It includes all materials, actual conditions test and special review before the fall tests (ACT 8/29; SAT 9/26 or PSAT 10/10.)

Reading & Study Skills Classes | (2-5 students) | $800

RANDD HS Rising Grades 9 - 12 7/19 - 7/29
MS – Middle School; HS – Middle School

The RANDD Reading and Study Skills Program is a comprehensive skill-building program that teaches students state of the art reading and study skills and strategies to make them better, more efficient, more effective students. Featured is Chyten’s Mid-Range Reading strategy that may help students double or triple their reading speed with greater comprehension than before. This is NOT speed reading!

In addition, RANDD students learn Review-Integrated Note-Taking, Information Organization Utilization (IOU), Classroom Management, Time Management, Test Taking Strategies and more. Three 2 ½ hour session per week (Mon, Wed, Thurs) for two weeks from 9am-11:30am.

With the new emphasis on “real world” or “integrated” math, many educators agree that the skills that go into solving math problems, pure and simple, are being lost.

Chyten’s Math Facts Boot Camps are comprehensive and intensive courses in which the ability to solve equations is brought back to its rightful position, front and center in a student’s math mind. Five 2 hours sessions from 10 am – 12 pm (Monday through Friday)

Writing is not a lost art form. It is buried deep inside every student’s creative mind. Chyten’s Effective Writing Boot Camps emphasize freedom from convention while operating inside a conventionally-structured school environment. Our theory is that a five paragraph essay can be as much a work of art as a creative writing piece. As for creative writing, we teach students that expression is at least as important as convention.

Five 2 hours sessions from 1 pm – 3 pm (Monday through Friday)
