CHYTEN TEST PREP SCHOLARSHIP (See FAQ's Page)
Chyten is providing a Test Prep Scholarship to a deserving Phoenix Valley student, who’s life could be considerably impacted by good scores on college entrance exams (SAT and ACT). To be included in the selection process, please complete our application and have your high school counselor complete the counselor recommendation form that includes the reasons why the student would be a good candidate.
The Test Preparation Package is valued at $3000 list price, and includes the following:
- ACT versus SAT Comparison Test, a diagnostic to determine which test is best for the student.
- 24 hours of individualized, private preparation OR a 30 hour class with no more than 5 students.
- This tutoring time will be split into sessions focusing on Math, English, Reading, Science (if ACT test), and Essay writing.
- Two actual-conditions full practice tests.
- Books needed for the preparation.
- At least two consultations with the student and a parent.
Selection Criteria should include:
- Member of the Graduating Class of 2012.
- GPA of 3.7 (unweighted) or better.
- Strength and caliber of course work.
- Transcripts from high school.
- Any test results from previous standardized tests such as PSAT, SAT, PLAN or ACT.
- Recommendation from your high school counselor (form) that explains the reasons why this candidate is deserving of this scholarship and how he or she will benefit from the preparation.
- Student who is passionate about pursuing a quality college education.
Process
- Fill out the attached application and include additional documents electronically. Please place the student’s name on the Subject Line. The deadline for submission is March 15th.
- Have your high school counselor submit a letter of recommendation form, he or she can send it via email to Scholarships@ChytenAZ.com. Please place the student’s name on the Subject line.

Please submit all documents by March 15th.
Chyten will interview finalists between April 1st and April 15th.
An announcement of recipient will be made by May 1st.
We look forward to working with the winner during May and June to help them achieve their college goals.
Chyten reserves the right to confer with the high school counselors if necessary. Student selection is contingent upon submission of all required documents and the ability to arrange a mutually convenient schedule. The final decision will be made by a Scholarship committee, which will include the directors and staff of Chyten, plus Mr. Neil Chyten, the company’s founder from Boston. |
